This evening, we write this post as a result of an article that was published in today's edition of the Daily Telegraph.
We don't intend to go into detail, other than to say that it had nothing to do with our company in any way. However, we believe that in view of the content, a few things need to be clarified, to reassure all our clients, families and indeed the general public of our position on a few points.
Nepean Valley Funerals is a Local, Family owned business, owned and operated by our Family. We have a strict code of conduct and ethics that is adhered to at all times by us and our staff. We never have, nor would we ever even consider to solicit doctors, aged care facilities or anywhere else to try and attain your business. This sort of activity goes totally against all our personal and professional beliefs and conduct and ethics standards. We believe that every family should have the right to choose a funeral director of their choice, who they're most comfortable with, and to do so without influence. This is not a job to us, it is our vocation, a privilege to care for our families and the loved ones that they have lost with the utmost dignity, respect and compassion at all times. A funeral director should always be a trusted professional, a person that you can turn to for help in your time of loss, and we take great pride in being those people.
