Each year we are proud to sponsor this important cause. Life founder Ann Willmington was diagnosed with a brain tumour and told she had 18 months to three years to live. Ann then visited Dr Charlie Teo and after three operations, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy she was given a second chance at life. We have known Ann and her family for many decades so when we started Nepean Valley Funerals, we were pleased to become a sponsor.
Ann is dedicated to finding a cure for brain cancer, and to help achieve this she came up with the idea of Music for Life, a gala ball that is held in Penrith each year. In 2020, due to Covid 19, the gala ball was unable to go ahead. Instead, Ann organised a Radiothon which we gladly supported.
