Most of us take the time to plan for important milestones like birthdays, holidays, marriages and retirement. But when it comes to funeral planning, we either forget or choose to ignore it completely.
At Nepean Valley Funerals, we relax the burden from your shoulders to help you plan a funeral exactly the way you want it. From the first point of contact, you receive caring and professional service to ensure your personal needs – or if known, those of the deceased – are satisfied on a reasonable, cost-effective plan.
As a family owned company, we’re a welcoming community who works with people of all faiths, denominations and non-religious beliefs. We take the stress out of funeral planning by helping you:
- Choose the right church, chapel or non-religious venue
- Find a civil celebrant or religious minister
- Choosing a coffin or casket
- Organise the registration of death and the issuing of Death Certificate
- Place notices in the newspaper
- Liaise with florists, musicians, stationery, and other service providers
- Many other services
Our offices are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to offer advice and assistance when you need it most.
Burial and Cremation
Nepean Valley Funerals is partnered with the Catholic Cemeteries & Crematoria (CCC). The not-for-profit organisation manages 5 cemeteries in Western Sydney: Rookwood, Liverpool, Kemps Creek, Greendale and North Rocks.
Each site has beautiful gardens, waterways in open-air spaces ideal for above ground, below ground and cremated memorials. All locations are lovingly maintained, protected by government development projects, and will be preserved for future generations to come.
Nepean Valley Funerals regularly hold funerals at many cemeteries and crematoria.
Choose from our premium range of local and imported coffins and caskets to suit your budget and personal taste.
Few things are more heavily debated than the cost of a funeral. A prepaid funeral makes it easy to plan for the future with a record of your personal wishes. And a funeral payment plan to ease the financial burden from the family
From choosing the venue to coffin or casket selection, music, floral arrangements and burial or cremations – all personal wishes are documented so the family can avoid making these choices on their own. Contributions can be made as lump sums or regular deposits for as little as $50 a month.
By prepaying for your funeral, you pay today’s cost of the entire service… not what it will cost when the time comes.
Everyone deals with grief in their own way at some point in life.
Support from friends and family is important, but the services of a professional counsellor may help those recovering from the loss of a friend, relative or loved one.
Nepean Valley Funerals provides grief support for individuals, families and children under any circumstances of loss. We can provide a range of specialist counselling, support and education to aide in the bereavement process.
